Construction Manager Civil

About the Role

SAMA Holding Co- SAMA Construction ** is seeking a Construction Manager Civil to join their team. This full-time position is based in Duba and Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with extensive experience in civil construction management, particularly within substation and infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The Construction Manager Civil will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities for substation and infrastructure projects. This role involves ensuring project compliance, monitoring progress, coordinating with various stakeholders, and leading site teams to achieve project objectives efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all construction activities related to Substation projects.
• Review and interpret civil designs, drawings, and specifications for Utility/Substation/infrastructure Projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, HSE, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Lead site teams and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure quality and productivity targets are achieved.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
• Manage interfaces between various disciplines and stakeholders.
• Review and approve method statements, work procedures, and construction plans.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities.
• Prepare construction reports, progress updates, and management presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on civil projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing substation, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civil designs, drawings, specifications, and relevant industry codes.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the cities of Duba and Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. The role requires active on-site presence and coordination with various project teams and stakeholders.
