In this pivotal role, you will support the General Manager in all strategic, organizational, and operational HR matters for a luxury hotel property. You will be integral in driving organizational performance through effective recruitment, development, and engagement of a capable team, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and efficient HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Partner to support ambitious business objectives through an effective HR strategy.
- Provide coaching and support to the leadership team on organizational and people management issues.
- Enhance employer branding and implement innovative recruitment strategies while ensuring effective onboarding processes.
- Drive employee engagement through communication and activities, addressing staff grievances proactively.
- Benchmark compensation and benefits structures to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
- Oversee HR administration and compliance with Kempinski standards and local laws, including payroll services.
- Lead the HR team in managing recruitment, administration, and employee accommodations.
- Project manage the implementation of global HR initiatives and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree in business administration, HR management or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in local language and English, with knowledge of additional languages being a plus.
- Strong understanding of local labor law, HR operations, and experience with HR information systems.
