Job Purpose:
A Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within a plant. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing components to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Equipment Operation: Ensure the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including LIMS guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Key Accountabilities:

Machinery, Equipment & Utilities Repairs and Maintenance.
Perform maintenance on TRUMPF Laser / Punching / Bending Machines and other CNC machinery.
Utility Maintenance including Compressors and Electric Stackers.
Collaborate with Maintenance Team on daily shop floor activities.
Generate maintenance activity job reports and maintain service records.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics with good working knowledge in sheet metal fabrication machinery.
Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in maintenance, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
Good exposure to industrial maintenance in the Gulf region.

Behavioral Competencies:

Teamwork and communication.
Self-motivating with active coordination skills.

Requirements:

Good physical condition and ability to work in high-pressure environments with alternating shifts.

In this entry-level role, you will provide hands-on technical support for the production and repair of equipment and tools in a shop environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, visually check, paint, assemble, load, and store tools and equipment.
Ensure adherence to all necessary documentation requirements.
Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and promptly report any issues using appropriate tools.
Follow maintenance processes and procedures to undertake tasks related to tools and equipment.
Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe condition.
