Job Overview:
As a Swimming Pool Technician, your main responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing the hotel's swimming pools, spas, and related equipment. You will ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool water, conduct routine maintenance, and resolve any technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and equipment.
• Water Quality: Test and adjust chemical levels in the pool to maintain safety standards.
• Cleaning: Ensure cleanliness of the pool area, including vacuuming and skimming debris.
• Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain all pool equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities.
• Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service to guests related to pool inquiries.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in pool maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience as a swimming pool technician in a hospitality setting.
• Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.

Preferred Skills:
Certifications in pool maintenance and strong customer service skills are advantageous. Your knowledge of safety protocols will also be beneficial as you engage with our guests.

Join Our Team as a Pool Technician!

At The Red Sea EDITION, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to ensure our guests enjoy flawless service regarding our pool facilities. As a member of our engineering and facilities team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our luxurious pools and resources.

Role Responsibilities:

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests related to pool maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools and equipment visually.
• Maintain maintenance inventory; requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with guests about maintenance issues and resolve them promptly.
• Assure daily activities and issues are communicated to other shifts.
• Display proficiency in areas such as air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Use and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Carry out minor repairs (*, plumbing, electrical equipment) and program TVs.
• Follow company safety and security policies, reporting any issues or injuries.
• Lift and move objects as necessary, adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Vocational or technical background is preferred.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification is required.
• Relevant certifications for state and federal requirements.
