Role Overview:Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the operational strategies for the marine service fleet and ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Developing the technical budget for maintenance and overseeing costs related to repairs, maintenance, and operational needs.
- Driving maintenance planning and coordination, including preventive maintenance schedules and inventory management.
- Executing surveys and inspections to guarantee vessel compliance with classification requirements.
- Promoting a safety-conscious culture by coaching the marine services crew.
Requirements:We seek candidates with:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a marine technical role.
- Formal qualifications as a Marine Chief Engineer, Naval Architect, or Mechanical Engineer.
- Proven shoreside experience as a Fleet Technical Manager with expertise in vessel maintenance and decarbonization strategies.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
