We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Catering Assistant Manager to enhance our guests' experience by assisting in managing our service team and collaborating closely with the culinary team. In this vital role, you will support the Catering & Events Department in delivering exceptional event experiences aligned with Kempinski’s prestigious brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Banquet Manager in leading the catering services effectively, ensuring the highest quality service.
  • Supervise the catering staff, including supervisors, captains, drivers, and waiters, to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Lead by example with punctuality and adherence to the hotel's dress code and grooming standards.
  • Conduct daily and/or weekly meetings to foster teamwork and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage daily catering operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and high operational efficiency.
  • Engage actively in event planning and communicate effectively with clients to meet their needs.
  • Monitor costs, inventory, and supplies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to align with Kempinski’s service philosophy.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all catering activities.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP/BFC is advantageous.

Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
