Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovate and test new recipes focusing on creativity, presentation, and taste.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality and adherence to brand standards.
  • Supervise daily operations of the bakery and pastry section.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor ingredient levels, manage ordering, and inventory.
  • Lead and train junior staff to follow recipes and techniques correctly.
  • Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role, with strong expertise in Pastry and Bakery.
  • Experience in bulk cooking is essential.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of pastry and bakery cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional specialties.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Fluency in English.
