Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Leadership: Manage the culinary team, mentor staff, and ensure teamwork and performance excellence.
  • Menu Development and Planning: Create innovative menus reflecting seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Oversee food preparation, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Inventory and Cost Management: Manage kitchen inventory and optimize food costs for profitability.
  • Staff Scheduling and Training: Schedule kitchen staff and conduct training sessions on cooking techniques and safety.
  • Vendor Relations: Build relationships with suppliers and manage contracts for quality ingredients.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with guests for feedback and address dietary concerns.
  • Communication & Working Relationships: Collaborate with department heads on kitchen operations and guest experience.
  • Decision Making: Make strategic decisions for menu planning and kitchen efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent from a recognized institute.
  • 7-10 years of culinary experience; 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in menu planning and food presentation techniques.
  • Strong culinary skills in various cuisines.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
