This full-time, office-based role is crucial for identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and managing the sales process from inception to closure.
The Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth by engaging with clients in the oil, gas, and industrial sectors, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within target sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial research to closing deals.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements and build trust.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals.
- Effectively coordinate with internal technical and procurement teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries and quotation requests.
- Maintain accurate sales records and diligently track sales pipeline and forecasts.
- Provide regular reports on market trends and competitor activities to support strategy.
- Collaborate closely with management to achieve sales targets and support key accounts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide product/service training or briefings to clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work at the company's headquarters in Khobar and travel to client sites as needed.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural work environment.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills, essential for building trust and understanding client needs.
- Proven sales and sales management capabilities, including lead generation and pipeline management.
- Track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly in the oil & gas or industrial sectors, is highly preferred.
- A strong understanding of trading, supply, or distribution processes for civil and mechanical products is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and essential office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, email, and calendar tools.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- A results-oriented and integrity-driven approach to sales.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time role requiring presence at the company's headquarters in Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role also involves the need to travel to client sites as required.
