About the Role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced System Integration Solution Architect to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This senior professional will be responsible for designing scalable, end-to-end technology solutions across IT infrastructure, ERP platforms, system integration, consulting, and digital transformation. The role is critical in supporting strategic opportunities by translating complex business needs into competitive, commercially viable, and technically robust solution architectures. You will collaborate closely with sales, presales, and delivery teams to shape opportunities, develop proposals, and ensure solutions meet client requirements, market expectations, and regulatory standards specific to the Saudi Arabian market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of diverse technology landscapes and the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and business stakeholders, driving digital transformation initiatives for clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures encompassing IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365), system integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Translate client business and technical requirements into scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality solution designs.
  • Develop comprehensive solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, integration approaches, and delivery models for complex opportunities.
  • Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to industry best practices, enterprise architecture principles, and align with client objectives.
  • Develop and validate solution pricing models, cost estimates, and commercial assumptions to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Support the creation of commercially viable proposals that effectively balance technical quality with demonstrable business value.
  • Assess cost structures, effort estimates, delivery risks, and margin considerations throughout the solution development process.
  • Ensure pricing strategies align with market benchmarks and organizational governance requirements.
  • Lead the technical solutioning workstream for RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, scope definitions, effort estimates, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, bid management, finance, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals.
  • Ensure proposed solutions meet all client requirements, tender specifications, and relevant compliance obligations.
  • Participate actively in client meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and technical presentations.
  • Clearly articulate solution value propositions, technical differentiators, and proposed delivery approaches to clients.
  • Support early opportunity shaping and qualification by providing critical technical insights and solution recommendations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies within proposed solutions.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to enhance delivery confidence and proposal quality.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to enhance solution competitiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of solution assets, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, presales, or consulting roles within IT and digital transformation domains.
  • Proven experience designing complex, large-scale technology solutions across IT infrastructure, ERP, and enterprise systems.
  • Strong experience in solution pricing, cost modeling, and commercial proposal development.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, including technical solutioning, effort estimation, and pricing.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), enterprise integration and system architecture, or digital transformation and smart government initiatives.
  • Experience within the Saudi Arabian market and with public sector opportunities is highly preferred.
