About the Role

Aloula Aviation is seeking a Fixed Wing First Officer to join its operations in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting the Captain in all aspects of flight operations, adhering to aviation safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Officer duties, including pilot monitoring and pilot flying, in accordance with the Flight Operation Manual and under the Captain's direction.
• Conduct interior and pre-flight aircraft inspections.
• Initialize navigation systems and verify manually inserted data accuracy.
• Obtain weather briefings and route information, file flight plans, and review flight details.
• Collaborate with the Captain to check instruments, engines, and communications equipment before flight.
• Execute radio communications for departure procedures after engine start.
• Assist the Captain with final checks of instruments and avionics.
• Pilot the aircraft as directed by the Captain, adhering to airman procedures and ICAO/GACA/FAA Rules and Regulations.
• Maintain continuous progression in knowledge of operating procedures for assigned aircraft.
• Engage in radio communication with control facilities, providing position reports and receiving flight plan amendments.
• Operate navigation systems to maintain the aircraft's track according to flight clearances.
• Maintain a navigation log to cross-check actual flight progress against the flight plan.
• Advise the Captain of any discrepancies and assist in developing alternative courses of action.
• Support the Captain in ensuring passenger safety and comfort, and verify compliance with FAA, Company, and Department Operating and Safety Regulations.
• Assist the Captain with securing the aircraft, completing Customs & Immigration formalities, and overseeing passenger disembarkation.
• Undertake duties assigned by the Chief Pilot, Fleet Captain, Training Captain, or Captain, which may include office duties.
• Complete all assigned training courses.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical Discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• A minimum of 1000 flight hours, including IATP hours.
• Possession of a GACA Commercial/Pilot license.
• Valid GACA Medical Certificate.
• GACA license with an instrument rating.
