Join Our Team as an Accountant (AP) at Kuok Maritime Group
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Accountant (AP) to manage and oversee our Accounts Payable function. This is a key role within our organization that ensures accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the company's Accounts Payable (AP) function.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Procure-to-Payment process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency in AP processes.
• Establish and maintain AP policies and procedures.
• Optimize financial processes and systems.
• Prepare VAT & WHT reports and ensure monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
• Lead and motivate the AP team to provide high-quality output.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of SAP and strong Excel skills.
• Proficient in both English and Arabic.

Role Overview:
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Reconciling vendor accounts and addressing discrepancies.
• Supporting monthly closing and reporting activities.
• Maintaining integrity of financial data while adhering to internal controls.
• Collaborating with procurement and operation teams to resolve Accounts Payable issues.
• Assisting with additional accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
