About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Secretary to provide essential administrative and clerical support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, and supporting healthcare professionals while ensuring confidentiality and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients in a professional manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage medical appointments.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
  • Prepare medical reports, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff.
  • Assist with insurance claims and billing procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Perform general administrative and office duties.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Secretary or Administrative Assistant (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
