About the Job
At H&P, our people are our strength. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Purchaser/Buyer to join our team in the Eastern Region. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that our stock is sufficient and ordering new items as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and vendors to ensure timely delivery of purchased orders.
  • Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery conditions.
  • Generate purchase orders using the company's procurement system.
  • Audit the performance of local vendors to ensure agreements are fulfilled effectively.
  • Communicate with rigs to ensure timely and accurate supply of parts.
  • Provide necessary reports to internal clients and establish payment terms with local suppliers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English.

Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
  • At least 3 years of related experience.

About the Role

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and scientific reporting.
  • Prior research or laboratory assistant experience.
