  • Knowledge of databases and networking is a plus.

Job Purpose:
The VNA Forklift Driver is responsible for operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklifts to safely load, unload, store, and retrieve goods in high-rack storage areas of the warehouse. You will ensure secure, efficient, and timely handling of materials while maintaining safety standards and equipment reliability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate VNA forklifts to load and unload goods from vehicles/trucks in line with company procedures.
  • Move goods packed on pallets to and from designated storage locations within narrow aisle racking systems.
  • Stack and retrieve materials accurately in high racks, following stock control and inventory instructions.
  • Support picking and staging of goods for dispatch according to warehouse requirements.
  • Stack empty pallets in designated areas.
  • Perform daily equipment checks including battery charging, functionality, and safety inspection.
  • Report any forklift or equipment damage/faults immediately to relevant staff.
  • Assist in manually loading/unloading when required and support other warehouse tasks as necessary.
  • Ensure secure loading, unloading, and handling of all goods to prevent damages.
  • Maintain VNA forklift and equipment in good working order at all times.
  • Complete and submit required documentation related to materials handling.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid VNA forklift operator license/certification.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a forklift driver (VNA experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and palletized goods handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain accuracy, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
