About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Director of Sales for its property in Jeddah. This full-time position requires a professional with a proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets to maximize revenue across rooms, meeting spaces, and banquet facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing daily sales operations and coaching the sales team to achieve their full potential. Key duties include:

• Managing daily sales activities and team performance.
• Achieving personal and team sales goals to enhance profitability.
• Developing and executing sales plans to increase occupancy, average rates, and volume for rooms, food and beverage, and banquets.
• Producing and reviewing monthly performance reports.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients and external contacts.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in marketing or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least four years in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.
• Direct supervisory experience over a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and market trends.
• Fluency in local language(s).
• Proficiency in other languages is preferred.
