Our leading company in the field of hazardous waste management is seeking to hire a distinguished public accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting, including: #
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial data to ensure the accuracy of reports.
  • Monitoring receivables and payables and making necessary reconciliations.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Providing financial support to other departments through cost and revenue analysis.
  • Managing budgets and financial forecasts in cooperation with senior management.
  • Developing and improving internal accounting systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advising management on growth and investment strategies.
  • Preparing for tax audits and ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
  • Training and mentoring new staff in the accounting department.
  • Staying updated on the latest changes in accounting standards and financial laws.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the waste management industry or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed financial decisions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP or others.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
  • Good familiarity with local and international financial laws and accounting standards.
  • Ability to handle large data sets and analyze them accurately.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to achieve specific financial goals.
