About the Internal Audit Role

This full-time position is based in Jeddah and focuses on performing internal audit activities to support the organization's objectives. The role involves reviewing records, gathering information on controls and risks, and contributing to the audit engagement and reporting processes.

Core Responsibilities

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for executing a range of duties to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Adhering to all approved Internal Audit policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performing assigned day-to-day Internal Audit activities in accordance with established guidelines.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of internal audit policies, procedures, and practices.
• Gathering and analyzing information to support audit activities and risk assessments.
• Reviewing paper-based and electronic records against established audit criteria and procedures.
• Participating in audit projects and assignments as a team member when required.
• Preparing and organizing audit files and supporting documentation for audit engagements.
• Executing basic audit procedures and documenting audit findings and observations.
• Assisting in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations based on audit results.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related field.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant information systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
