The Role: Laundry Supervisor

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to join its team. This full-time position involves overseeing daily laundry operations within the hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure personal presentation aligns with hotel standards, including full attire, cleanliness, and grooming.
• Accurately sign in and out at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare daily production forms for laundry operations.
• Conduct routine checks of the work area for preparation.
• Verify that all equipment is in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area before concluding the shift.
• Execute shutdown procedures for steam pipes, switches, and the main panel during the last shift, where applicable.
• Handover dirty uniforms to the Linen Room.
• Adhere to environmentally friendly practices, including waste reduction, recycling, and reuse.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in laundry operations within a hotel of at least 200 rooms, or in a large commercial laundry.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• Willingness to work extended duty hours as required.
