Join the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) as a Librarian Specialist!

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance the delivery of our library services, contributing to the knowledge goals of the Group. This position is based in Jeddah, at our headquarters, and will involve managing, developing, and promoting library strategies that support our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Planning: Contribute to the development and review of library strategies and policies.
  • Acquisition & Knowledge Development: Prepare annual acquisition plans and manage library acquisitions.
  • Cataloging and Content Management: Perform cataloging and maintain library management systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Oversee the circulation of resources and promote library services.
  • Financial Processing: Monitor library budget and process transactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical reports and communicate with resource providers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multilateral development bank.
