About the Principal Auditor Role

Saudi Airlines is seeking a Principal Auditor to join its team in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional to oversee and direct internal audit activities, ensuring adherence to professional standards and providing strategic advice to management.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Principal Auditor will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and recommending audit strategies to ensure compliance with professional internal auditing standards. This role involves conducting research, offering expert advice to superiors, and supporting internal audit management through leadership on special and confidential projects. A key aspect of the position includes reviewing audit reports to verify data accuracy. The jobholder will also function as a business consultant, providing recommendations on complex issues and supporting management decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and direct audits to ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Conduct research and provide expert advice to senior management.
• Lead special and confidential projects to support internal audit management.
• Review auditing reports to ensure the accuracy of provided data.
• Act as a business consultant, offering recommendations on complex issues.
• Provide advice to support management in decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• An internationally recognized Accounting or Auditing certification, such as CPA or CIA.
• Advanced proficiency in the English language.
• A minimum of seven years of work experience, with at least three years in a relevant auditing function.

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah Region, serving the cities of Jeddah and Makkah.
