The Storekeeper Role

The Storekeeper is responsible for maintaining precise control over warehouse inventory within Entaj's manufacturing environment. This full-time position, based in Makkah (Jeddah, Makkah), involves the proper receiving, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials and supplies. The role ensures that materials are stored safely, stock records are accurate, and inventory is readily available to support production and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies, verifying quantities, specifications, and quality against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations, adhering to proper storage procedures, safety standards, and inventory classification systems.
• Issue materials to internal departments based on approved requests, ensuring accurate documentation in inventory records or ERP systems.
• Maintain inventory records by updating stock movements, tracking balances, and ensuring the accuracy of physical stock against system records.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and participate in cycle counts and annual inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance, maintaining orderly storage areas and adhering to occupational health and safety standards.
• Report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly to the supervisor to facilitate timely corrective action.
• Support logistics and warehouse operations by assisting in material handling, labeling, and proper stock rotation, including FIFO practices where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse inventory control role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock movements.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.

Work Environment

This role operates within Entaj's manufacturing environment, focusing on warehouse and logistics operations. The position is full-time and based in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah.
