Job Description

About the Role

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Head of Sales for Trucks & Buses to lead the business in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and focuses on driving sales volume, revenue, and gross margin targets within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Trucks & Buses sales function to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for volume, revenue, and gross margin.
  • Set sales objectives by model and branch in collaboration with Planning and Analysis teams.
  • Develop and manage accurate weekly sales and margin forecasts for senior leadership.
  • Monitor sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly, implementing timely actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize stock availability and execute effective sales campaigns for overage stock.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting to provide insights into market performance and sales trends.
  • Coach, lead, and motivate the sales team to achieve strong customer and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in any discipline, with a preference for Engineering or Management.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a specific focus on trucks and buses.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial sales leadership role.
  • Significant experience within the KSA market.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to influence, motivate, and gain commitment across all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including experience managing sales teams and support functions.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with robust quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting and planning tools, such as Excel and SAP.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

Team and Work Environment

This role is part of the Trucks & Buses team based in Jeddah/Makkah. The position reports to the Country Manager – FAMCO KSA and involves leading a team of sales professionals. Collaboration with Planning and Analysis, finance, and retail partners is integral to ensuring data-driven sales strategies and operational alignment for sustainable growth.
