About the Junior Front-End Developer Role

Pulsemedia (EMEA), a digital marketing agency specializing in healthcare, medical, and wellness brands, is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to join its fully remote team. This full-time position is based in the MENA region, with specific locations including Taif and Makkah. This role is an opportunity for an early-career developer with 0-1 years of experience to build modern, responsive web experiences and develop technical skills within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Front-End Developer will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and landing pages for clients in the healthcare and wellness sectors.
• Converting UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code.
• Developing digital assets to support marketing campaigns and client websites.
• Collaborating with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver digital experiences.
• Assisting with front-end improvements to support SEO, website performance, and conversion optimization.
• Optimizing websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ensuring seamless user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Adhering to accessibility and usability best practices.
• Maintaining and updating WordPress websites and other CMS platforms.
• Implementing content changes, templates, layouts, and new pages as required.
• Identifying and resolving front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies.
• Testing websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure reliability and quality.
• Staying current with modern front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and collaborating with experienced developers to enhance skills.

Required Qualifications

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience, which can include internships, freelance work, personal projects, or bootcamp experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.
• Experience using design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Basic knowledge of website performance optimization and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar CSS frameworks.
• Basic understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Exposure to healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern development workflows.
• Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is a strong advantage.
