Manager Payment Development

About the Role

Saudi Airlines is seeking a Manager Payment Development to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves managing the daily operations, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital payment solutions across the Saudia Group. The position requires strong expertise in digital payments, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and vendor coordination, with over 10 years of experience required.

Role Purpose

The Manager Payment Development will oversee payment acquiring activities, digital wallet initiatives, payment gateway integrations, and payment-related projects. The primary objective is to ensure secure, efficient, and customer-centric payment experiences for the Saudia Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of digital payment solutions, including payment gateways, acquiring services, and digital wallets.
• Oversee payment card acquiring activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, PCI-DSS standards, and card scheme regulations (Visa and Mastercard).
• Lead payment-related projects and system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery, operational stability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, banking partners, payment service providers, and vendors to implement and optimize payment solutions.
• Monitor payment performance, transaction success rates, fraud indicators, and customer experience metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage payment risks, resolve operational and technical issues, and ensure secure, reliable, and efficient payment processing.
• Prepare performance reports, business cases, and recommendations to support decision-making and payment strategy execution.
• Lead and develop a team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging payment technologies, market trends, and digital payment innovations to enhance customer experience and support business growth.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital payments is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in payment acquiring activities, digital wallet initiatives, and payment gateway integrations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, PCI-DSS standards, and card scheme regulations (Visa and Mastercard).
• Proven ability in stakeholder management and vendor coordination.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation in digital payment solutions.
