We are seeking an enthusiastic Operations Supervisor to oversee our catering team's daily operations and enhance our service delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the catering operations team for event service delivery.
- Coordinate catering logistics including food preparation, transportation, set-up, and service execution.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to align with company standards.
- Manage and train catering staff to ensure high performance and customer service.
- Oversee inventory management while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in planning and coordinating catering events, working closely with clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during events.
- Review customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain operational reports on staff attendance, inventory usage, and event outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor staffing levels and coordinate shift schedules.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations.
- Assist in menu planning based on dietary restrictions and budget constraints.
- Implement operational procedures for efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure proper waste handling in line with sustainability practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in catering operations or food service management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficient in catering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Flexible availability for catering events on weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role within a catering environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing large-scale events.
