Role Overview: Project Coordinator, Architectural Design

Line Architects Ksa is seeking an Architectural Design Project Coordinator to join our team for a specific 3-month project. This is an office-based role focused exclusively on the design phase, located in the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah. The position is not a permanent full-time role but a dedicated project assignment.

Project Scope and Duration

This role is dedicated to supporting the design phase of a project over a 3-month period. The responsibilities will strictly involve design coordination and will not extend to construction supervision or site execution activities. The Project Coordinator will be integral to ensuring smooth operations within the design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily design activities across all engineering disciplines, including Architecture, Structure, MEP, Landscape, Signage & Wayfinding, and Traffic.
• Monitor the overall design schedule and track progress against established project milestones.
• Follow up with design consultants and internal teams to ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Maintain the project design tracker and monitor outstanding actions.
• Organize and coordinate design coordination meetings, prepare agendas, and issue meeting minutes.
• Track client and stakeholder comments to ensure their incorporation into the design.
• Coordinate the review and approval process for design packages.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with the project execution plan, quality standards, and submission requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project progress, risks, and critical issues.
• Coordinate information exchange between all project disciplines to avoid design conflicts.
• Maintain project documentation, correspondence, and records in accordance with document control procedures.
• Monitor design changes and maintain a log of revisions and design decisions.
• Follow up on RFIs, design clarifications, and technical queries between stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Support resource planning by monitoring workload and upcoming design deliverables.
• Assist in identifying potential schedule delays and recommend mitigation actions.
• Ensure effective communication between the client, consultants, and the internal design team.
• Support the preparation of presentations, design review workshops, and client meetings.
• Monitor compliance with project procedures, design standards, and contractual requirements.
• Perform other project coordination duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is an office-based position within the Makkah region, with work locations available in Jeddah and Makkah. The role is structured as a project-based assignment for a duration of three months.
