Role Overview
The General Cargo Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of general cargo operations, focusing on optimizing processes, ensuring safety standards, and leading teams towards efficiency and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop engagement strategies and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for inquiries and updates.
  • Change Management: Lead execution workstreams in cargo operations, coach and develop teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Project Management: Regularly report on stakeholder engagement status and coordinate involvement in projects to ensure integrated decision-making.
  • Leadership: Prepare presentations and communications tailored to stakeholder needs while promoting NEOM’s culture and values.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in general cargo roles, including 4 years in management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, communication, and negotiation.

  • Conduct as-built surveys and prepare final deliverables using CAD and GIS software.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 58 years of experience in land or engineering surveying, preferably within infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in using survey instruments (*, Trimble, Leica), GPS systems, and CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
  • Understanding of civil construction practices, infrastructure development processes, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and construction standards is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Surveyor License or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Experience with UAV/drone surveys and photogrammetry.
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling software.
