Role Overview:The Mathematics teacher will develop and implement engaging lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners while aligning with the MYP and DP frameworks. This role will be under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator(s) and the Head of School, contributing to a thriving educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and facilitate engaging lessons and units of inquiry, fostering students' mathematical curiosity.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment by adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
- Implement inquiry-based learning strategies to encourage student exploration of mathematical concepts.
- Assess student understanding and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches.
- Engage with parents and the community to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in professional development and remain informed about educational trends.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Mathematics teacher, ideally within the IB framework.
- In-depth understanding of mathematical disciplines and effective teaching methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics or related field and a Professional Teaching Qualification.
