
Sales Representative
Job Description
The sales representative is the person responsible for marketing and selling products or services to potential customers. He interacts with potential and current customers, provides them with information about the products, and helps them in making purchasing decisions.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand customer needs and provide them with appropriate solutions. The sales representative also deals with specific sales targets and works to achieve them through various methods, such as meetings, phone calls, and presentations. This role requires a lot of energy and personal motivation to achieve success in a competitive sales environment.
Key tasks of a sales representative:
- Searching for potential customers: Continuously researching for new clients in targeted markets and opening communication channels with them.
- Interacting with customers: Communicating with customers and presenting commercial offers that meet their needs, whether via phone or personal meetings.
- Closing deals: Completing sales transactions and achieving sales targets by convincing customers to make the final decision to purchase the product or service.
- Following up with customers: Maintaining a continuous relationship with current customers by providing post-sale technical support and monitoring their satisfaction.
- Preparing reports: Collecting data related to sales and generating reports on the progress of monthly and quarterly goals.
- Negotiating terms: Negotiating with customers regarding prices, terms, and special offers to ensure successful and satisfactory sales for both parties.
- Attending seminars and exhibitions: Participating in marketing activities, such as exhibitions and seminars, to expand the customer network and increase sales opportunities.
- Market analysis: Studying market competitors and analyzing commercial trends to identify new opportunities and develop sales strategies.
Basic requirements for the sales representative position:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Previous experience in sales or a similar field (men's supplies or accessories and perfumes).
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve goals.
