About the Role

The company is developing an integrated super app to connect vehicles, services, and digital experiences. As an Accountant at Carly, you will manage the company's daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance within an innovative environment. This full-time position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient financial processes, contributing to the development of products that enhance transparency in the automotive e-commerce sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations, including the accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Maintain precise general ledger entries, ensuring all financial activities are properly documented.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Actively participate in and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and analysis.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
• Support effective cash flow management to optimize the company's financial liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide support for financial analysis as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and general ledger management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes, conduct reconciliations, and track cash flow effectively.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all numerical work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, effectively prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in the e-commerce, technology, or automotive sectors is a plus.
