The Role: Business Development Manager
AlFaisal-Ai is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the commercial growth of its platform within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, this full-time role involves developing and implementing commercial growth strategies, leading sales efforts, building strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue and market expansion targets. The manager will collaborate directly with executive management on business plans, performance measurement, sales process improvement, and product development informed by market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business development strategy to achieve annual growth targets.
- Lead client acquisition efforts and convert commercial opportunities into contracts.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with law firms, legal departments, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and corporations.
- Manage the End-to-End Sales Cycle, from identifying potential clients to contract signing and onboarding.
- Deliver professional presentations, introductory meetings, and live product demonstrations.
- Lead commercial negotiations and prepare financial proposals and contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
- Manage a network of relationships with key decision-makers in both public and private sectors.
- Represent the company at legal and technical conferences, forums, and exhibitions, focusing on strategically impactful events.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to convey customer needs and contribute to service and product development.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage potential clients, track sales opportunities, and prepare performance reports.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, new client acquisition, conversion rates, and contract value.
- Lead and manage the SaaS Retail Sales team and the Enterprise Sales team, focusing on performance development and target achievement.
- Prepare Sales Forecasts and periodic expansion plans, reporting to executive management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, closing deals, and building strategic partnerships.
- Experience in selling SaaS solutions, software, technical services, or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Advanced skills in negotiation, persuasion, and long-term relationship management.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Sales and Retail Sales, with the ability to manage both tracks efficiently.
- Experience in preparing commercial proposals and professional presentations.
- Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Strong skills in planning, time management, data analysis, working under pressure, and achieving targets.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a strong network of relationships within the legal, commercial, industrial, and governmental sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Ability to access senior partners in law firms, legal leaders in companies, and decision-makers in government agencies.
