The Role: Business Development Specialist
Maknoun is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to expanding our client base by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and securing new business. The specialist will be responsible for proactive engagement and driving growth within our target industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new B2B clients across target industries.
- Conduct outbound outreach through various channels, including calls, email, LinkedIn, and professional networking.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to generate leads.
- Schedule and conduct sales meetings and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns and inbound leads.
- Stay informed about current market trends and competitor activities.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in business development or a related sales role.
- Comfortable attending industry events and representing the company professionally.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, hunter mindset for new business acquisition.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves regular interaction with clients and participation in external industry events.
