The Role: Conference Producer (6-Month Contract)

Tahaluf is seeking a Conference Producer for a 6-month full-time contract based in Riyadh. This role requires an individual who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the fast-paced and evolving industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging expert speakers from around the world, managing speaker logistics, and overseeing the order of show on-site at events.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-level, relevant industry conference programs.
• Liaise with key professionals, institutions, and companies in the production of conference programs.
• Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
• Ensure the speaker database is updated to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management.
• Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
• Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate.
• Mentor other conference producers within the team.
• Conduct a post-show analysis of the event, including job title analysis.
• Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
• Develop new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
• Collaborate with the Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
• Identify key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies related to the event.
• Maintain existing and build new relationships to develop conferences with relevant topics and speakers.
• Explore additional delegate attraction methods, such as workshops, poster sessions, and partnerships with associations.
• Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates on-site to maintain customer service standards, resolve queries, and gain feedback.
• Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may require longer working hours.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum two years’ experience in conference production.
• Ability to speak and write clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups.
• Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness.
• Experience in research-based roles.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Brand and market awareness.
• Relevant industry and event knowledge, particularly in the gaming, esports, and security sectors.
