Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing essential electrical maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of electrical systems and equipment. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, conducting both corrective and preventive maintenance, and assisting with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards within the plant's electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities in Electrical Maintenance

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in accordance with safety and maintenance standards to ensure system availability.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems, including testing, cleaning, and lubrication, in coordination with the operations team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment according to established schedules and maintenance cycles to prevent system issues.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Utilize electrical testing equipment and tools for accurate measurements and assessments.
• Report major maintenance requirements to the supervisor for scheduling corrective maintenance within acceptable timeframes.

Installation and Commissioning Duties

• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to assist in the proper installation and connection of equipment.
• Collaborate with the Electrical Foreman and other technicians on planning and executing installation projects.
• Verify compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards during all installation activities.
• Calibrate electrical instruments and devices, such as meters, gauges, and controllers, to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company. The role requires active participation in a team-oriented environment, ensuring the operational integrity of critical electrical infrastructure.
