Introduction to the Finance Manager Role

Dream of the Desert is establishing Saudi Arabia’s first luxury train experience, focused on delivering high-quality hospitality and showcasing cultural heritage across diverse landscapes. As a rapidly expanding organization, we are building a team dedicated to operational excellence and service delivery. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is subject to Saudization requirements, and therefore, applicants must be Saudi nationals.

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will lead the company's finance function and provide essential support for strategic business decisions. This role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health and operational efficiency within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital management.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Support business planning, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in finance management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing finance operations within a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills for financial performance analysis and strategic support.
• Proven leadership capabilities to lead and develop a finance team.
• Proactive approach to financial oversight and problem-solving.
• Must be a Saudi national, in line with applicable Saudi labor regulations and workforce localization requirements.
