About the Role
As a Finance Manager at Malaa, you will oversee operational finance activities ensuring efficient management of payables and receivables, expense management, and overall financial operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing accurate financial reports and enabling timely decision-making, ultimately supporting the company’s mission to advance financial technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts payable/receivable cycles, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations.
  • Maintain cash visibility and prepare reports to inform senior management of liquidity status.
  • Design and enforce spending controls and streamline reimbursement processes.
  • Oversee month-end operational close tasks and prepare financial schedules for review.
  • Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation within financial operations.
  • Mentor and develop the accounting ops team to enhance performance and accuracy in financial services.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • 45 years of experience in finance/accounting, particularly in AP/AR management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems with a strong focus on process automation.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Exceptional Excel skills for operational reporting.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.

Must Have: Experience in fintech or regulated financial services.
