Job Summary: You will support end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger management, payroll and labor reporting, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. Your contributions will ensure strong financial controls and compliance with regulations, providing timely insights for effective decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, review, and update financial records for KSA and UAE.
• Prepare and post journal entries with precision.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Track operating expenses and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Manage labor reporting and payroll processes.
• Support audits by preparing documentation.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across MENA.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

About the Role
Sahm Information Technology Company is seeking a General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The role focuses on managing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining full compliance with Saudi financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting entries and general ledger transactions
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Issue, review, and follow up on invoices
• Prepare and submit VAT reports in compliance with ZATCA requirements
• Collaborate and coordinate with external audit firms and accounting offices
• Coordinate with banks and relevant government entities when required
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards and internal financial policies

• Record daily and monthly accounting transactions in the ERP related to bank, petty cash, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses and accruals.
• Manage the end-to-end payment process and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist in monthly closings.
• Prepare VAT reports and assist with external audit preparations.
• Generate various financial reports as required.
• Support budgeting processes and manage the proper allocation of transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Preferred professional qualifications: ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
