About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking an Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor for its operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a proactive individual focused on maintaining operational standards and driving continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.

Role Overview

As an ICQA Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring sufficient resources for your function. This includes identifying training needs, managing team performance and absences, and coaching your department to foster a culture of productivity and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities, ensuring overall safety, quality, and performance within the operations.
  • Set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to safety procedures, documenting accidents and incidents promptly.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Proactively address obstacles and drive results.
  • Communicate and consistently enforce company policies.
  • Identify and implement improvement plans based on sourced ideas.
  • Promote the sharing of best practices across departments and shifts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure support for initiatives.
  • Track production metrics and utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement and report to management.
  • Assist in establishing long-term operational strategic plans.
  • Mentor and provide training and development to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Recognize high performance and provide coaching or progressive discipline as needed.
  • Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
  • Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews to ensure pay accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including shift rotations and extended hours as required, with an expectation to arrive 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes late for pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience with SQL and advanced Excel is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop tools, data collection processes, and data management systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Capacity to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12-hour shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse setting. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours, including overtime and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
