At MGIS, we are committed to providing high-quality education with an IB certification, and we are looking for a passionate Islamic Studies Teacher to join our dedicated team. Our school emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic studies into the academic curriculum, delivered in both Arabic and English to our diverse student body from KG1 to Grade 9.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Islamic Studies curriculum that covers Islamic principles, Quranic studies, Seerah, Hadith, and Fiqh.
  • Classroom Management: Create and maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging active student participation.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Design assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Student Support and Engagement: Mentor students on applying Islamic teachings in their lives and inspire engagement in practices such as prayer and charity.
  • Professional Collaboration and Development: Work collaboratively with colleagues to align the Islamic curriculum and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Contribution to School Community: Organize and support Islamic events and uphold the school's mission and values in all interactions.

  • Strong knowledge of Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history.
  • Proficiency in Tajweed and ability to teach Qur'anic memorization.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
  • Familiarity with international curricula is an advantage.
