We are seeking a dedicated Legal Specialist to manage our legal affairs, governance, and compliance processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a dedicated Legal Specialist to manage our legal affairs, governance, and compliance processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a legally sound work environment through the following responsibilities:
- Monitor the implementation of governance and compliance requirements in accordance with Saudi laws.
- Prepare, review, and periodically update internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements to ensure legal compliance.
- Provide legal advice to various departments for informed decision-making.
- Manage the compliance register, identify legal risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Represent the company before relevant judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on legal status and compliance to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits related to legal compliance.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Legal Studies from a recognized university.
- 2 to 5 years of practical experience in legal affairs, with a focus on governance and compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of laws in Saudi Arabia including Companies Law, Labor Law, and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
- Strong skills in drafting legal documents and policies.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify legal risks.
- Proficiency in computer skills and government electronic platforms.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with different departments.
