Job Purpose
The primary objective of a Machine Operator is to run the packaging machine efficiently and effectively, achieving production targets while optimizing machine performance. You will be responsible for collecting hourly data on machine throughput and ensuring that packaging material is used efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Achieve required machine efficiency set by the department.
• Ensure material efficiency targets are met.
• Monitor weights to control giveaway targets.
• Oversee packers working under your assigned tubes, managing breaks and cleanliness.
• Conduct routine maintenance of the packaging machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean workplace and adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Report any health hazards to your immediate manager.
• Attend quality meetings regularly to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Industrial training institute graduate (ITI) or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of packing machine experience.
• Strong communication skills and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to analyze data and maintain integrity in all tasks.
