About the Role

BAE SYSTEMS is seeking a Munitions Maintenance Technician 1 to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in munitions maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

The Munitions Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to ensure the operational readiness and safety of munitions. This includes:

• Performing all required munitions maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of current Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) munitions.
• Developing and conducting On-the-Job Training (OJT) for junior and RSAF trainees, including classroom instruction as needed.
• Maintaining munitions tools and equipment, including AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment) and special-to-type servicing stands.
• Ensuring strict compliance with tool control procedures within munitions maintenance sections.
• Preparing, inspecting, and storing all munitions within the RSAF inventory in accordance with RSAF procedures.
• Supporting RSAF Aircraft Squadrons with timely and accurate delivery of munitions.
• Monitoring and demanding all supply issues that affect the munitions maintenance sections.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:

• Graduation from a military or civilian munitions school (RSAF 26170 / 26370 / 18170) or an equivalent program.
• A good level of English language comprehension, both written and oral, equivalent to a minimum of 75% (RSAF equivalent ECL).
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience working on the full range of RSAF Munitions Systems, gained in either a military or civilian environment.
• Possession of a current driving license.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

A strong understanding of munitions principles and procedures is required:

• Full conversancy with the principles of Munitions Maintenance, Inspection, Assembly, and Disassembly.
• Full conversancy with the principles of Explosives Safety, Handling, Transportation, and Storage.
• Sound knowledge of the RSAF OJT program on Munitions Maintenance.
• Familiarity with the principles and requirements detailed within RSAF I’s 7606-4 & 7601-4, and the RSAF Publications System in general.
• Competency in using the standard RSAF Software suite, including Microsoft Office.
