About Virtucruit and the Role

Virtucruit is collaborating with a prominent Saudi group to recruit an Operations Director. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and is crucial for the pre-launch phase of a transformative automotive platform. The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing operational foundations for this new venture.

Role Overview

The Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of business operations. This involves ensuring smooth processes, effective vendor management, and driving overall operational excellence. The role requires a strategic approach to build and optimize the operational framework from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for platform operations to ensure operational readiness.
Establish contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Implement lean practices and methodologies to optimize efficiency across all operational processes.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across service delivery to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Technology functions to ensure cross-functional alignment and integrated operations.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management.
Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing operational processes, ideally within a pre-launch or fast-growing environment.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on launching a new automotive platform, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
