- Oversee production and presentation of pastry items, ensuring top-notch quality.
- Develop innovative and visually stunning desserts.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of pastry chefs.
- Create and manage menus for seasonal offerings and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain cost-effective purchasing.
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen departments for smooth operations.
- Manage production schedules and task delegation.
- Maintain equipment and oversee pastry kitchen facilities.
- Stay updated on global pastry trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef.
- In-depth knowledge of classic European and international pastries.
- Expertise in modern pastry techniques, including molecular gastronomy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and cost control.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- High standards of cleanliness and food safety.
