At King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a Medication Care Assistant to join our Inpatient Pharmacy Section.

Job Summary:
The Medication Care Assistant ensures efficient medication delivery and correct placement of medications on shelving units while coordinating within the healthcare team.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacy staff to optimize medication delivery turnaround times by picking up and delivering medications to nursing units per established schedules.
  • Help pharmacy and nursing staff locate delivered medications by scanning and documenting all deliveries according to pharmacy protocols.
  • Assist pharmacists in replenishing pharmacy shelves to maintain an organized and accessible pharmacy for patient care.
  • Handle return medications for disposal.
  • Support narcotic staff with medication placement in the narcotic vault as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace within the pharmacy.
  • Adhere to the Employee Code of Conduct and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Organize and archive documents periodically as required.
  • Follow the chain of command to report incidents or concerns.

Requirements:
  • High School Education is required.
  • Experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates.
  • Only Saudi Nationals are eligible to apply.
