The Role of a Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing the complete monthly payroll cycle for employees. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation, while maintaining strict confidentiality of all employee records and adhering to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process the monthly payroll for all employees.
• Verify and reconcile attendance records, timesheets, overtime, leave, and shift data.
• Accurately calculate salaries, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and final settlements.
• Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with HR, Finance, and various project/site teams to gather necessary payroll inputs.
• Prepare comprehensive payroll reports, salary reconciliations, and bank transfer files.
• Maintain employee payroll records with the highest level of confidentiality.
• Address employee payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of dedicated payroll experience, with a preference for experience gained within the construction industry.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll/HRMS software, such as Menaitech.
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations relevant to Saudi Arabia.
