Join Our Clinical Team as a Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high quality standards in fluid sample handling. Your ability to connect with patients and efficiently perform venipuncture will contribute greatly to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange daily activities based on the urgency of requests for fluid samples.
  • Identify patients and verify their personal information using IDs or documents.
  • Determine the appropriate venipuncture method based on patient factors.
  • Reassure and assist patients to ensure their comfort.
  • Locate suitable veins for blood draws.
  • Collect blood using sterilized needles and equipment.
  • Ensure proper labeling and quality of samples for testing.
  • Provide information and answer patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of specimens and tests.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards while working.
  • Assist with blood transfusions as necessary.
  • Comply with laboratory standards for infection prevention and control.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Higher Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in effective puncture techniques.
  • Understanding of patient identification protocols.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements for blood collection and handling samples.
  • Computer skills for information entry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to connect with diverse patient demographics.
