About the Role

KTC International is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in ELV and ITS systems to contribute to the company's tender and proposal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals for tenders and client submissions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical clarifications.
  • Prepare comparison sheets, cost breakdowns, and pricing analysis to support management decisions.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and financial forecasting for projects.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and execution teams to ensure comprehensive project understanding.
  • Attend technical discussions, clarification meetings, and site visits as needed.
  • Ensure proposals comply with Saudi standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
  • Maintain historical pricing data and previous project records to enhance estimation accuracy.
  • Assist in identifying risks, exclusions, assumptions, and technical deviations in tender submissions.
  • Prepare cost estimates for ELV & ITS systems, including CCTV, VMS, fiber networks, traffic signals, ITS, access control, structured cabling, and related systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, estimation, or tendering for ELV and/or ITS projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ELV & ITS systems such as CCTV, VMS, fiber optic networks, traffic signals, access control, structured cabling, and related low-current systems.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
  • Good knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, vendor pricing, and proposal preparation.
  • Familiarity with Saudi standards, local regulations, and authority requirements is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and related estimation tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Compensation and Work Details

This full-time position is based in Riyadh. The offered salary range is SAR 5,625 to SAR 7,500 per month.
