About the Procurement Manager Role

APT Advanced Power Technology Contracting is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee all procurement activities for construction and MEP projects in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a strategic leader to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and subcontract services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Manage the sourcing, evaluation, and qualification of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and cultivate strategic relationships.
• Coordinate procurement needs with project, engineering, and finance teams.
• Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services to support project timelines.
• Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and contractual obligations.
• Manage procurement risks and mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and contracting companies is required, with at least 5 of those years in a managerial procurement role.
